Terms

Terms for the ActualCost private pilot.

These terms describe the current evaluation-stage service and the responsibilities of workspace owners and users.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

1. The pilot

ActualCost is an evaluation-stage job-costing service operated by ValueLAB MB. Access may be approved, limited, suspended or ended while the product is tested and improved. Pilot functionality may change.

2. Accounts and authorised users

Users must provide accurate account information, protect their credentials and use only the workspace they are authorised to access. Workspace owners are responsible for invitations, roles and activity performed by their authorised users. Credentials must not be shared between people.

3. Customer information

The workspace owner retains responsibility for information entered into its workspace, including having permission to use employee, customer, supplier and project information. Users must not upload unlawful content, malicious code or information they are not authorised to process.

4. Calculations and business decisions

ActualCost organises user-provided estimates, time, costs and billings and performs calculations from that information. Results depend on the completeness and accuracy of the records entered. Users remain responsible for reviewing figures before making commercial, payroll, tax, accounting or contractual decisions. ActualCost is not a replacement for professional accounting or legal advice.

5. Availability and changes

The pilot is provided for evaluation and may experience interruptions. We may correct defects, change features or perform maintenance. Users should maintain appropriate copies of records they need for accounting, contractual or legal purposes.

6. Intellectual property

ActualCost, its interface, software, branding and documentation belong to ValueLAB MB or its licensors. A user receives a limited, revocable right to use the pilot for the authorised company workspace. Feedback may be used to improve the service without transferring ownership of the user’s underlying company information.

7. Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended where necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law, or manage the pilot. A workspace owner may request closure by contacting us.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the pilot is provided without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. ValueLAB MB is not responsible for business decisions made without independently checking the underlying records and calculations. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Contact and applicable law

Questions can be sent to valuelabmb@gmail.com. These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Lithuania, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to the user.
